Droplr App Reviews

Existing functional problems are limiting the usefulness and feature set of Pro Account. I have seen poor customer and technical support. I contacted Droplr multiple times, and havent received an acknowledgement or fix, in over two weeks. If you are looking for a similar service, #dropmark is a consideration.

Hey buds, I love everything you guys do, but please update the iPhone app. Although, its still awesome!

Good product, but the lack of an iOS 7-savvy app leaves me wondering about stability of the company.

In the beginning the app worked flawlessly and had earned its place on my home screen. Unfortunately once my subscription expired the app became useless. As theres no way to renew the subscription via the app, theres no way to continue the service. I find it peculiar though that on the App Store page it DOES say the app offers in-app purchases, but does not show these options down below (as you would typically find within apps that offer in-app purchases). So my laziness to not renew via browser has led me to just delete this app and move on to a new one.

The iOS app would be perfect if only you could upload more than one photo/video at a time. Seriously, this is really low-hanging fruit and allowing multi-file uploads would dramatically improve the apps functionality. As it stands, this is just a good looking companion app to the Mac and web apps. Ive been a Droplr Pro subscriber for almost three years, and Ive been very impressed with the service. It stacks up very nicely with CloudApp, etc.

Nice app but since its the only iOS app for droplr, there really isnt much to compare it to. Would be nice if the icon and UI would be updated for iOS 7!

This is a good service, but because of the few updates to the apps & service over the years, it seems overpriced for what it is. I have let my subscription expire and not renewed. I like Droplr, just seems like someones hobby.

Ive been very happy with Droplr for the past few years and Im thrilled to see it moving forward and adding new features. While I too use Dropbox, Droplr serves a different function for me. Its almost like a dumping ground where I put files Im not interested in organizing, but want to keep and/or share. I use Droplr for: - Screenshots for support emails. - Quick files to friends. - URL shortening. - Adding links to files in my todo manager, which doesnt support attachments.

There is no cloud sharing platform doing this 100% right. You guys have a great Mac app, but the iOS component is horrible. The design is lacking tremendously and there is no functionality at all. Please fix this. Make Droplr an excellent product, not a so-so one.

App works great and secure between my ipad and two computers with one subscription!

This is, as far as I know, a one of a kind app enabling one to generate a link to information such as text or photo that you have composed. One can then copy the link to the clipboard and paste it into an email to be sent wherever. The usefulness of this app is open ended and full of possibilities. This is a must have application. Well thought out and well done.

Like the app, but it is way overpriced. Take a look at the app Pushbullet. Pushbullet has many of the same goals. And its FREE. Im not about to pay a lot of money for something I can get free somewhere else. They dont do things the same way, but they do achieve the same objectives. In fact, I think I even prefer pushbullets platform more, but especially the free part is great too.

Its been a while since Droplr was updated. An extension to shorten links directly from Safari would be nice.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! OMG, Im SOOOOOOOOOOO happy that Droplr is finally updated for iOS 8!!!! This is one of my most used apps, I use it on all of your platforms! Although the new logo is really strange, the old one made more sense IMO.

After over a year of waiting the update is here! Except it is bug ridden and has a lot of issues before you can properly use this app. Graphical issues everywhere. Also it has caused my iPhone to have springboard crash anytime I try to use this app. I would stay away from this one ti droplr fixes it.

Update....changed from pay to free if you help them "spread the word" Trust is not a business ethic!

So by upgrading to a pro account it says I get enhanced privacy, well why do I have to pay extra for a service that should automatically have that built-in for all users regardless of their tier? If you cant provide your users the utmost privacy and security from the get go, then what is the point of using your service? I can get top-notch security from apps that are already out there so youre not convincing me or other people to switch to your service. On top of that you have a problem with your security with the Mac app that you just released. Your going to have to do better than this.
