Pros and cons of Droplr app for iPhone and iPad

Droplr app good for

Even for sharing things to myself, this app is fantastic. I love how smooth the service works, and the app and share extension are very easy to use. I have to send lots of pictures and things to my work computer, and I hate emailing myself. Hate! I will definitely recommend this app.
Droplr is an essential! Give it a chance and you wont turn back.
This is a good app for adding pictures and documents or getting the link to an existing drop, but you cant add GIFs to it. You always need to go back to the desktop version to add GIFs. Other than that it is an excellent app, havent had any bugs or crashes.
this is an app for sharing work with clients and co-workers. this is not for playing or pirating movies or music, its not for being use as a media server. if you are not a freelancer or media producer please stop using it and also STOP GIVING BAD REVIEWS! thanks
There are very few apps that I write a review for, let alone recommend. But this is one of them. I absolutely love this service. When I have had issues, they have been very quick to respond and always super kind. I highly recommend this app and their service.
We love using this to communicate as a remote team. Its so easy to share designs, screenshot issues and more. The way this app works with their mac app is amazing as well.

Some bad moments

The app barely works. Most of the time when uploading from others apps it fails to post drops.
I love Droplr, and have been a loyal paid user for years. But the iOS apps is basically useless for playing high-quality videos, because the app insists on only streaming the video, rather than caching the file locally so that you can play it without interruption. I use Droplr on the desktop to send video approvals to my clients and they complain that they have trouble playing HD H264 videos from my Droplr links because it always stops in the middle of the video and the player does not cache or buffer the video in its entirety. Sad that the app is so lackluster in its video support, because Droplr itself is an awesome service.
Downgraded to one star. Needs list view. Get rid of the silly icons! The desktop service is terrific. However the new app does not show file names beyond the first 3 characters. Unusable to identify files. No multiple delete, no list view. A big step backwards in usability.
And certainly not a business application. Line width cannot be adjusted, so youre stuck with a fat line. Choice of colors is next to nothing, and one in uploads, it uploads half your picture. Literally, half your picture uploads of what value is that?
Dropbox offers 1 TB for the exact same price as these guys are charging for 200GB.
The application is half baked, overlapping menus everywhere, does not recognize your Droplr PRO account even if you are a paid Pro member.
